About More_U
Namaste & Welcome, I’m So Glad You’re Here
This space was created from my own personal journey through a time of deep challenge—physically, emotionally, and throughout both my professional and personal life.
I was born in Rajasthan, India. When I moved to Canada, I found myself creating a life from the ground up. Everything felt new—the culture, the rhythm of daily life, and the distance from the community that had shaped my early years. As time went on and I started my own family here, the responsibilities grew, and there were moments when balancing it all felt overwhelming. I often felt the quiet pressure to stay steady and grounded for the people who depended on me, even when I was still learning how to steady myself.
Like many, I tried to manage everything by myself. It wasn’t until I returned to the grounding practices of hatha yoga and mindfulness that I began to reconnect with my inner strength. These practices became my anchor, helping me soothe anxiety, find clarity, and move through each day with more ease, resilience, and presence.
Yoga taught me that calm is something we can cultivate, breath by breath. It helped me feel steadier in times of change, more compassionate during moments of self-doubt, and more rooted as I created a life in a place that slowly began to feel like home.
My hope is to share that same sense of grounding with you, in a space where you can breathe deeply, reconnect with yourself, and feel supported through whatever season of life you’re in.
A Space Where You Can Move As You Are
At MoreU, I believe yoga is for every body. My classes are designed to be accessible to all—no matter your age, experience, flexibility, or body type. Whether you’re stepping onto a mat for the first time or returning after years away, you’ll find a supportive space where you can move at your own pace and feel empowered in your practice.
Yoga With Purpose
Giving back is at the heart of my work. A portion of all proceeds from MoreU supports the Sakhi Project in Rajasthan through the Toronto Calcutta Foundation—an initiative that empowers young girls in rural villages to become self-sustaining entrepreneurs through sewing, skill-building, and business education. This work helps them build independent futures without leaving their families or communities.
I am also honoured to offer no-fee classes to veterans and members of the armed forces, and I provide yoga services through the local Legion as a way to support those who have served. These sessions are grounded in trauma-informed, resilience-based practices that can be especially supportive for first responders, or anyone navigating PTSD, stress, or emotional fatigue. MoreU is a space where you can move gently, reconnect with your breath, and feel safe to speak, share, and connect with others who understand the weight you may be carrying.

“I always leave her sessions feeling rejuvenated and refreshed in both body and spirit. This has led to better sleep, a more flexible body and a more positive outlook.”
